WHAT IS PVD?

Physical Vapor Deposition is a state
of the art, environmentally-friendly
process that takes place in a vacuum
chamber.  We use the Cathodic Arc
Technique to bond an incredibly
durable metallic coating to your
product on a molecular level by
vaporizing solid metals such as
Titanium and Zirconium and
combining them with various gases to
produce specific colors.
SUBSTRATE MATERIALS:

You may enjoy the freedom of
sending products made of Stainless
Steel, Brass, Glass, Ceramic,
Plastic, Aluminum or Zinc.  Whether
you manufacture your own products,
obtain them stateside or offshore,
LTC can ensure their uniform
appearance and add the durability
that only comes from our
professional PVD color matching
techniques.
PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS:

Any of the above substrate materials
can be used. However, your
products must be received
thoroughly chromed or in stainless
steel. PVD has been proven to
adhere best to these two materials.

High quality coatings start with high
quality parts. Be advised that PVD
will not cover defects such as
scratches, nicks, pits and dents.
Thorough chroming is also
recommended as PVD will not
adhere to no-chrome areas.
